Luke Bryan Plays ‘Oops! My Water Broke’ Game, Performs ‘Move’ on ‘Ellen’

Luke Bryan may be a father and know the whole pregnancy procedure, but he stepped up to the plate on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (9/28) to help out with someone’s water breaking…or something like that.

Sitting down to talk to the comedic host, Bryan laid down the law about one of his most valuable assets: his booty. He’s known for shaking it on stage and it made fans wanted to get a piece of him during meet-and-greets. While Bryan awkwardly obliged at their requests at the beginning of his career to create a strong bond to his supporters, he let DeGeneres in on the dos and don’ts on touching his tush.

“They’ll sneak one in on you,” explained Bryan about the subtle butt grabs from fans. “And it still happens. We’ve learned to understand it.”

The country star then got wrangled into volunteering for a silly game variation of Kerplunk. DeGeneres and a selected lucky fan went head-to-head as they pulled sticks one by one in hopes that the chosen stick didn’t release the water balloons from above Bryan’s seated position. While DeGeneres clarified that some balloons could fall out, the loser would be determined when a stick resulted in every single one falling atop Bryan’s head.

Although DeGeneres claimed that Bryan did volunteer to take on the duty of being the soaking wet victim, he grimaced and twitched every time a balloon came crashing through to his body.

“I thought y’all said this water was heated,” he joked. “It’s pretty chilly.”

While it seems like the fan took the title of being the loser, she still went home a winner as Bryan gifted her with tickets to see his show in Detroit, Michigan. Even Bryan got some fulfillment despite his drenched state as DeGeneres returned the kind favor by donating $10,000 to Bryan’s scholarship for being a good sport.

Bryan dried off before performing his single, “Move,” in which he and the audience got down and danced like DeGeneres always encourages at her shows.

Going back and forth between his Kill the Lights Tour and other performances, Bryan will soon embark on his annual Farm Tour this fall. Fans can find more information about tour dates on his website.
