Luke Bryan’s ‘What Makes You Country’ Claims No. 1 Spot on Albums Charts

Luke Bryan is about to head into the Christmas holiday with a bright and merry spirit after his album, What Makes You Country, went No. 1 on the country albums chart.

Not only did the country singer hit the top spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, but he also earned himself a No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart as well. Sweeping in the all-genre and country accolades finished the year off with quite the happy celebration for Bryan and his team.

“So much thought goes into creating new music and I really try to write and find songs that I feel are staying true to me while staying fresh and fun,” Bryan explained in a recent press release. “I try and imagine people singing along in their cars or with me at my shows. It’s been a grand year for Bryan with the release of his new record, as well as landing a few hit singles along the way. His latest, “Light It Up,” hit No. 1 after soaring up the list quickly and landed Bryan his 19th career top hit.

He also fired up fans all across the country with his massive summer tour and his annual Farm Tour extravaganza that created a huge buzz toward his live performances.
