Luke Bryan’s Columbia, SC Farm Tour Date Delayed For Second Time

It seems that mother nature does not want to play nice for Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour this year. The 2015 Farm Tour has had to reschedule numerous dates, including the stop in Columbia, SC for the second time.

Bryan announced the news over the weekend on Twitter…

At the time of the original cancellations, Bryan took to social media to express his disappointment in the situation. “I know you guys are mad. I am heartbroken,” the Georgia native wrote. “We schedule farm tour in October because it is historically the driest month of the year. Atvs were bogging up. I will play in the rain but I can’t strand you guys in your vehicles for days. Been doing farm tours for seven years and this is the first time we’ve encountered this. We will learn and constantly get better. So sorry. Farm tour has forever been a growing dream of mine. This year is our biggest so far. Hang in there with me. I swear I will make it count. Seeing country fans pile into places where no one ever thought a show would ever be possible is the most gratifying ever. Love yall.”

The Columbia stop was originally scheduled for Oct. 3 and rescheduled for Oct. 11. The cancellation came the day before the rescheduled date, on Saturday, Oct. 10. The date has not yet been rescheduled.

A portion of the Farm Tour ticket proceeds are granted for local college scholarships (“Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship”) to students from a farming family within the communities the tour plays.
