Luke Combs Signs with River House Artists/Columbia Nashville
The country singer/songwriter has been leaving a huge imprint on the industry with the release of his current single, “Hurricane.”
It’s a big day for Luke Combs as he just got recently signed to River House Artists/Columbia Nashville in their new partnership endeavor.
The country singer/songwriter has been leaving a huge imprint on the industry with the release of his current single, “Hurricane.” The track, plus many other originals, will be a part of Combs’ upcoming album, This One’s For You. The project will be released with the help of Combs’ new label.
The forthcoming album will really showcase Combs’ ability in music and his passion for creating his own sound that sets him apart from what some may hear in country music nowadays.
“I co-wrote all 12 songs on the album. I just love writing songs and I think for me, as a fan of music, nothing against cutting songs, I would cut a great song if I heard it, but I just had the songs and I was like ‘Let’s do this,’” he said to Sounds Like Nashville in an interview. “When I go and see a concert, when I watch somebody and say ‘okay, well this guy wrote everything, I feel like I’m really connecting with that guy because those are his thoughts that he’s put down and turned into a song.’ I really enjoy that aspect of music so I’m trying to bring that to what I’m doing.”
