Since bursting onto the country scene, Luke Combs has garnered the attention of some of the biggest acts and landed spots on their massive nationwide tours. The North Carolina native has learned a lot from his time on the road, especially his most recent run on Jason Aldean’s High Noon Neon Tour.

“His approach to the stage every night is, like I said, I’ve learned from Jason that he really cares about the fans and they experience on stage every night,” Combs told Sounds Like Nashville during a recent No.1 celebration. “That’s really important to me.”

He continued, “We’ve done a lot of opening slots, a lot of festival slots where we’re playing for 45 [minutes], we may have even done an hour but I think dealing a 90 minute set, three or four nights a week in front of twenty to thirty thousand people that are there to see you… How do you keep all those people entertained and keep them from getting bored? I think Jason and Brantley [Gilbert] alike were both great examples of that so I’m lucky to have been out with guys that are true entertainers.”

Having Luke out on the road has been a treat for the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year. He’s had slew of amazing acts join him on the road and enjoys getting to see their careers take off.

“He’s one those guys that blows me away at the way the crowd responds to him every night. I mean he’s got a huge following out there,” shared Aldean recently.

Combs will continue to take tour notes during the remainder of the High Noon Neon Tour, which runs through September.
