The age-old saying may be ‘when it rains it pours,’ but Luke Combs has seen nothing but sunshine during his budding country music career. The singer just notched his second consecutive No.1 song on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with the Gold-certified “When It Rains It Pours,” from his debut album This One’s For You.

“When it rains, it really does pour! This year has been such a fun ride. I have to thank my fans, first and foremost, for making this second number one happen. They tell me all the time that they call their stations to request the song because they just love it and relate to the story,” said Combs in a press release. “Huge thanks to country radio as well for believing in the music and me – without you guys this just doesn’t happen.”

The single, co-written by Combs, Jordan Walker and Ray Fulcher, has garnered more than 89 million streams and over 34 million views of the accompanying music video.

“When It Rains It Pours” is featured on Combs’ debut album This One’s For You, which spent 18 weeks within the Top 5 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The project also features Combs’ history-making single, “Hurricane,” which became the first song from a debut artist since Blake Shelton’s 2001 hit “Austin” to top the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts for multiple weeks.

Fans can catch Luke Combs out on his headlining Don’t Tempt Me With A Good Time Tour, with special guests Ray Fulcher, Josh Phillips and Faren Rachels.
