There’s nothing like a good, old-fashioned tour prank!

Over the weekend, Keith Urban wrapped the North American leg of his Ripcord World Tour with Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris. To celebrate to end of her first major tour, Morris took the opportunity to cause a little bit of a ruckus.

Throughout the tour, Morris would join Urban for a duet of his Miranda Lambert collaboration, “We Were Us,” however, for one of their last nights on tour, a different Morris stepped out onstage… enter Marvin Morris, as Urban calls him…better known as Christian Paschall, Maren’s drummer.

Donned in a blonde wig, crop top, short shorts and Maren on vocals, Chris strutted himself out on stage, much to Urban’s surprise and resulting laughter. Urban tried several times to compose himself from the prank, but just couldn’t carry on with the song. Eventually, the real Maren made her way out on stage for the rest of the performance.

The prank came after several appreciative tweets from Morris to Urban for allowing her to join him on the road this summer.

“Having a moment of gratitude with this tour. Can’t believe this is the last weekend. @KeithUrban , you’re a damn legend,” she tweeted earlier in the night. “Seriously. He heard my EP and offered me the job. Talk about instincts over politics. I’ll never forget my first tour. 2 more nights!”

Morris may soon be the recipient of her own tour pranks as she’s preparing to embark on her very first headlining tour. The Hero Tour will kick off February 3 in Boston, MA with Devin Dawson and Ryan Hurd joining as support.
