Maren Morris Shares First Wedding Photo
The couple looked gorgeous as ever after exchanging vows.
Just hours after exchanging vows with Ryan Hurd, Maren Morris is giving fans a look at her enchanted wedding day. In a photo posted to Instagram, the “Rich” singer shared a snapshot of the newlyweds first kiss. “My last turn home,” she captioned the romantic image in homage to the first song the two wrote together (later recorded by Tim McGraw).
Hurd looked handsome in a royal blue suit, with Morris dazzling in a custom Cavanagh Baker-designed dress, inspired by her mother’s wedding gown and a pair of tall, sparkly heels. Morris stepped to her tip-toes to reach her tall groom as the two embraced and shared their first smooch as Mr. & Mrs.
The couple said “I do” on Saturday, March 24 during an intimate ceremony in Nashville, TN. The couple first met years ago during a writing session and have been inseparable since. They’ve been teasing their upcoming nuptials as any excited couple would be.
Leading up to the ceremony, Morris shared images of the couple’s writing their vows and becoming “sentimental AF.”
“Writing vows, feeling sentimental AF and dreaming of this guy being my freaking husband in a few days,” she captioned the black and white photo.
The couple will revel in their new lives together as husband and wife as the enjoy a well-deserved honeymoon before heading to Las Vegas for the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, where Morris is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and two in Vocal Event of the Year for “Craving You” with Thomas Rhett and “Dear Hate” with Vince Gill.
