Maren Morris Named Top Country Nominee for 2017 Grammy Awards

Maren Morris is leading the country pack with her four nominations for the upcoming 59th annual GRAMMY Awards, airing this February.

The 2017 Grammy Award nominations are here!

Leading the pack in country music is hot newcomer Maren Morris with four nominations. The singer landed among Best Country Album for her debut release HERO, as well as a spot in the all-genre category of Best New Artist, with fellow country act Kelsea Ballerini. The news came as a shock for the Texas native as she immediately tweeted, “Four Grammy nominations?! I’M SHOOK.”

Keith Urban is also one of country music’s top nominees with a total of three, including Best Country Album for Ripcord and two nominations for his current single “Blue Ain’t Your Color.” Miranda Lambert and Brandy Clark each notched two nominations.

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards air live on Sunday, Feb. 12. James Corden, host of The Late Late Show, will host the festivities. See the full list of country nominees below…
