Maren Morris Stuns With Vegas-esque ‘Rich’ Performance

Maren Morris had us all wishing we were ‘Rich’ after her jazzy performance at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards on Sunday night (April 15).
Morris’ latest single, “Rich,” could not have been a more perfect song choice for the awards show’s Las Vegas setting.
Lyrics like “Head to toe Prada / Benz in the driveway, yacht in the water / Vegas at the Mandarin, high roller gamblin’ / Me and Diddy drippin’ diamonds like Marilyn,” provided the perfect description of the thoughts running through the minds of Las Vegas tourists.

Clad in big curls and a snazzy gold dress, Morris shined brighter than the lights on the Las Vegas strip during her performance. She further embraced the Las Vegas environment as she strutted across the stage around giant marquee letters that boasted the song’s title.
Morris’ peers were feeling the sass of the song as the camera panned to artists like Miranda Lambert, who was having a great time dancing and singing along to the tune.
Morris was nominated for three ACM awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for “Craving You” with Thomas Rhett and “Dear Hate” with Vince Gill.
