Martina McBride Talks ‘Reckless’ on TODAY Show
The singer talked about not only her new record, but life at home with her husband John and their three daughters.
Martina McBride was up early yesterday morning when she visited the TODAY Show to sit down and chat with hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. The singer talked about not only her new record, but life at home with her husband John and their three daughters.
When asked what a normal day at home was, McBride explained that life is pretty low-key. “Well usually, John and I take turns but I like to do the morning shift and he picks up Ava from school. So I take Ava to school in the morning usually and then come back and have my coffee, just relax. I don’t know. I maybe go grocery shopping. It’s so boring,” she said. “I’m kind of a homebody.”
She even admitted that, unlike many pre-teens, her 10-year-old was still without a cell phone.
“I feel like once she starts going to friends houses and staying overnight, and doing more things like that,” explained McBride. “And for safety, it’s important.”
