Meet ‘Lady Aunt Bella,’ Charles Kelley’s ‘Estranged Aunt’

Country supergroup Lady Antebellum took a break from their weekly ‘Webisode Wednesday’ this week to address some major family drama between frontman Charles Kelley and his “estranged aunt,” “Lady Aunt Bella.”

“My crazy Aunt B,” Kelley says in the video. “She’s at it again.”

“Aunt B’s” issues with the band go all the way back to when the trio formed after Kelley and Dave Haywood Hillary Scott at a bar in Nashville. She’s still holding a grudge against Charles and Dave for selecting Hillary “Skank” to be part of the group instead of her (she considers herself “the true Lady A”). In fact, “Aunt B” suggests that Lady Antebellum should be called ‘Two Dudes and a Skank’ and ‘Two Hairy Werewolves and a Skank.’

She’s also upset about the trio’s recent release, On This Winter’s Night. She claims that it is all too close to the title of her own album, On This Chilly Winter’s Night.

You won’t believe what “Aunt B” has to say. See for yourself below…
