Mike Fisher Spends Day Off Fishing With Isaiah
Isaiah caught quite the snapper on his very first reel of the day!
He may be back lacing up his skates most days of the week, but Mike Fisher made the most out of his rest day by taking his little boy out for a father-son bonding activity.
Fisher and Isaiah enjoyed a successful afternoon of fishing on the lake. The boys left Carrie Underwood back at home to get in some quality time together by throwing out a line and hoping for a bite. Although Isaiah was a rookie out on the water, Fisher must have taught him the right skills needed to ace the sport as his son reeled a pretty good size sucker in on his first try.
“Day off= fishing with Izzy! Little man got this one with his first cast today and reeled it in himself. #prouddad,” Fisher captioned the Instagram photo of the two.
Both Fisher and Isaiah looked pretty happy to have caught the fish, with their matching pearly whites shining brighter in celebration of their day together.
Meanwhile, it’s unsure what Underwood was up to while her favorite guys were away. By some guesses, she could have still been laughing hysterically at her dogs’ snoring patterns that she documented for fans on social media over the weekend. Taking some time off for herself, Underwood has kept quite mum about her upcoming work plans and continues to just relax at home with her family in the meantime.
Fisher continues to balance home life with his revived work life after coming out of retirement from the NHL and landing a spot back on the Nashville Predators’ roster.
