Miley Cyrus may be a Tennessee girl born and raised, but she still holds true to the music that raised her including Sir Elton John’s hit, “Tiny Dancer.”

The music icon invited Cyrus to join him on stage for a never-before-seen collaboration at the 60th GRAMMY Awards, where the two combined their powerful vocals on John’s 1971 mega-hit. As usual, John busted out his classic piano skills that brought him to great success while chiming in on the first verse. Cyrus then wowed the crowd in her cherry red ballgown while belting out the well-known lyrics.

Building up to the “Tiny Dancer” climax, the two continuously harmonized and Cyrus dramatically leaned over the piano vying for John’s attention and smiles. Not skipping a beat whatsoever, the legend even seemed to be enjoying Cyrus’ take on his track, jamming out to every note.

It looked like Cyrus had a great time on stage with John as well, thanking him later on for allowing her to join him for a performance like none other that earned them love and support from an applauding crowd.

“Glammys ❤️💋🌹 Tonight was magic! Celebrating artists, movements , music , love …. Thank you for having me Sir Elton,” Cyrus captioned one of her many Instagram posts from the evening.

John and Cyrus’ collaboration (watch it below!) was just one of many performances on the 60th GRAMMY Awards stage on Sunday night, joining acts from Little Big Town to Rihanna to Kesha and many more.
