"I just feel like the fact that they can relate to what I say and that we have something in common we may not know each other well enough to know what it is yet but we’re kindred spirits,” said Lambert.

The group of friends in Miranda Lambert’s life is quite big. In fact, she has to try and keep in touch with thousands of people she loves and sticks by every single day.

Even in her latest single, “We Should Be Friends,” Lambert suggests that even the most relatable of folks should drop on into her social clique and join her on her crazy rollercoaster life. While there are many dedicated fans that support the country star through every step of her career that she hasn’t touched base with, she still feels as though she knows her listeners due to their constant encouragement.

“My fans to me are people that we should be friends. That’s where that comes from. I meet these people at shows or random, anywhere on the street. And I just feel like the fact that they can relate to what I say and that we have something in common we may not know each other well enough to know what it is yet but we’re kindred spirits,” she said recently.

The Texas native finds herself lucky to see her friends every day while traveling on the road, making connections with the fans who stand by her every day in the meet and greets and during shows as they sing along with the true-to-life words of Lambert’s music.

Lambert is currently on her Highway Vagabond Tour with Old Dominion and Aubrie Sellers throughout the next couple months. Fans can catch her on the road by finding out tour dates and ticket information on her website now.
