Miranda Lambert had a busy weekend in our nation’s capitol.

The superstar was on hand for two celebrations for the 38th annual Kennedy Center Honors. On Saturday night (Dec. 5), she attended the artist’s dinner, which was held at the U.S. Department of State. The dinner was held to honor singer-songwriter Carole King, filmmaker George Lucas, actress and singer Rita Moreno, conductor Seiji Ozawa, and actress and Broadway star Cicely Tyson, who are the recipients of the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors. Also in attendance were actress Kerry Washington, Secretary of State John Kerry, and late night host Stephen Colbert.

For the dinner, Lambert stunned in a white, cleavage-baring Peter Langner gown.

On Sunday (Dec. 6), the singer attended the Kennedy Center Honors Performance and Celebration at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, which is just a mile away from the White House. The prestigious event was attended by several celebrities including Washington, Colbert, Usher, and Aretha Franklin. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were also in attendance.

“So grateful to have been part of a night celebrating art,” Lambert wrote on Instagram following the event. “Kennedy Center Honors …thanks for having me!”

Lambert’s look was on-point once again. This time, she sported a gorgeous strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline.
