Miranda Lambert Crashes Ashley Monroe’s Sold Out Nashville Show

Ashley Monroe performed to a sold-out crowd at Nashville’s City Winery Friday evening (Nov. 20). In the middle of her set, the singer/songwriter surprised fans with a very special guest.

“I just released a record this year called The Blade, and I’m gonna do that song, and I’m gonna have the special guest vocalist that sang on that song on the record with me sing it, for the first time live, really, ever. So … here’s little miss Miranda Lambert!”

Lambert, who was no longer sporting the pink tips she wore at the CMA Awards, walked on stage smiling and waving to the audience. She then embraced Monroe and took her place by the mic to sing along.

According to The Tennessean, Monroe’s show was the biggest show ever hosted at City Winery.
