Miranda Lambert Crowned 2015 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year

Miranda Lambert was crowned Female Vocalist of the Year at the 49th Annual CMA Awards. This is Lambert’s sixth win in the category.

“I needed a bright spot this year,” the 31-year-old expressed while accepting her award on stage.

Lambert edged out Kelsea Ballerini, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, and Lee Ann Womack in the coveted category.
