Over the years, Miranda Lambert has collected a menagerie of animals; from dogs to cats to horses and more. Currently, the “Tin Man” singer has a collective 18 animals that she loves and cares for.

“It’s five horses, two mini horses, seven dogs and four rescue kitties. 18. It’s my new lucky number,” Lambert shared with radio morning show Ty, Kelly and Chuck.

With 18 animals and a job on the road, how does the Texas native manage her ever-growing brood?

“I bring ‘em all. All 18 right on the bus,” she joked, before clarifying, “One of my mini horses was on my bus. That’s how I even own her. But I have my ponies painted on the side of my bus, airbrushed old-school style. So they kind of go with me.”

One of her pets that doesn’t join her on the road is her dog Delilah, who has since retired from touring. Lambert doesn’t see very much of her as her grandma has adopted the pup as her own.

“My grandma literally stole her though,” she told the radio hosts. “I was on the phone with my grandma this morning and she was telling me all about my dog, but it’s her dog now. She retired from the road so my grandma would keep her and she just never gave her back.”

Though Delilah may be missed from the road, Lambert has plenty of other four-legged friends to share her bus with, even adding some along the way when she invites local shelters to shows she’s playing to help them adopt out their precious pups.
