Miranda Lambert Spills on ‘Vintage’ Inspiration for Idyllwind Fashion Line

Miranda Lambert is, no doubt, one of the biggest fashion influences in the country music community. Her edgy-meets-laidback style reflects upon her personality in an outward way, and the singer embraces her love of clothes and accessories as she takes on the role of fashion designer for the Idyllwind clothing collection.

Hoping to mirror what staples that Lambert keeps close to in her closet, she let her creativity flow when it came to designing the pieces for Idyllwind. Making sure it was more about quality than quantity, the singer wanted to her selection brought the old into the new with some throwback trends added into the mix.

“It has a vintage vibe with a fashion edge.We wanted to build something comfortable with great quality — clothes and boots you can wear on the road, hanging out and a few showstoppers for going out, too,” Lambert described the clothing.

The Texas native knows how important it is to look good, but also the priority of comfort as well. Balancing both the personalities of a live concert persona and a farm girl at heart, Lambert gets the notion that fashion is about being calm, cool and collected as well as boosting the confidence levels.

“I always loved the way clothes can express the women underneath — how it makes them feel and move,” she gushed. “I wanted to create a brand of products that made women feel badass while doing ordinary or extraordinary things.”

As for inspiration on her own on-stage and casual style, Lambert throws a nod toward one country queen who always goes above and beyond in her fashion game.
