Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation Returns to CMA Fest

For the past couple years, Miranda Lambert and MuttNation Foundation provided a paw-some time for CMA Fest attendees by making her worlds of music and pet adoption collide at the MuttNation rig.
The singer will continue on her tradition by bringing the trailer of adorable pets to Music City Center during CMA Music Festival to raise awareness for the importance of adoption and neutering. Some lucky fans will even make the leap of faith to bring home the pups on display, as they will be eligible for adoption themselves for qualified owners.
A cause very close to Lambert’s heart, she always hopes that her small part of MuttNation at the festival can open the eyes and hearts of many to the ‘adopt, don’t shop’ initiative that her organization supports.
“MuttNation’s mission is to promote the adoption of shelter pets, spay & neuter, and to let everyone know why these things are so important. Since country music fans are the most passionate people out there, CMA Fest is a great place to accomplish these goals,” said Lambert in a press release. “And it’s the world’s best feeling when you make the perfect match between a rescue and a new owner, knowing it’s creating such an incredible bond that will grow deeper and stronger every day. It just fills my heart with happiness to be part of something so special.”
Lambert’s mother, Bev, will be in attendance at the MuttNation stand, taking pictures of all the animals and talking to visitors about MuttNation’s goal. People can also purchase toys and other items from the Petmate collection that Lambert worked to create, with proceeds going right back into the foundation.
The 2018 CMA Music Festival will be held in Nashville from June 7-10. More information about the weekend can be found on the official Country Music Association website.
