Miranda Lambert has made her fans’ Friday a little sweeter by revealing the album artwork for her highly anticipated upcoming album, The Weight of These Wings.

The country star took to Instagram this morning to share the record cover, featuring an old-school black-and-white style picture of Lambert. She’s clad in a sheer, flowing gown and holding her guitar while her long locks frame her face. A barn peeks out of the corner and angel wings appear behind her to complete the look.

The album cover hints at a more traditional style and may give fans a clue of what to expect for the upcoming project, her first in two years.

The lead single off The Weight of These Wings, “Vice,” was released earlier this summer. It’s a deeply personal track that doesn’t hold anything back.

“It’s kind of the cycle of life. We can’t all be sunshine and roses every day and sometimes when we’re not, we find things that make us feel better at the moment and that’s what a vice is,” she said about the track. “I think when you go through something in your life that’s hard, you learn what you run to and what you run from and sometimes, that comes full circle. It’s a very clear image of somebody that’s willing to just lay it all out there and be honest. No one’s heard music from me in awhile and it just felt like the perfect song to lead off with because it’s just me being who I am.”

The Weight of These Wings is slated to hit shelves on Nov. 18.
