Miranda Lambert Still Shocked By Amount of her Success

"Because it is, like I said, so I mean I’m thrilled ever get to be part of anything that has to do with country music because it’s all I’ve ever done, it’s all I’ll ever do, it’s just makes up who I am,” Lambert said recently.

While she’s raked in quite the number of awards and released critically-acclaimed albums through her career, it never dulls the feeling Miranda Lambert gets when she finds herself running into more success.

As the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year since 2010 (and a nomination in the category this year), Lambert could have gotten used to hearing her name being called at the top of the charts. But despite everything she’s accomplished, she still soaks every second in and is thankful for the opportunities that got her to the position she’s in now.

“I mean it really doesn’t feel real, you know when you hear somebody say that, it’s just sometimes I feel like I’m just getting started in my career, and sometimes I feel like I’ve been here for a really long time but it’s moment that like that, that are so validating, and make you realize all the sacrifices, and work,  heart, and energy, and time you put in…you know, people notice and they still want you to be part of this family. Because it is, like I said, so I mean I’m thrilled ever get to be part of anything that has to do with country music because it’s all I’ve ever done, it’s all I’ll ever do, it’s just makes up who I am,” Lambert said recently.

With the anticipated release of her double album, The Weight of These Wings, coming out this November, Lambert only hopes that fans and fellow country music artists continue to support her music as she remains grateful for everything she’s done.

Lambert recently announced that she will be heading out on the Highway Vagabond Tour with Old Dominion and Aubrie Sellers at the beginning of 2017. The tour will hit major cities across the country until mid-March. The country singer will also be performing at the 50th Annual CMA Awards, which air live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 2 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
