Miranda Lambert won Song of the Year for “Tin Man” at the 53rd Annual ACM Awards tonight.

As she walked up the stairs to accept her award, Lambert looked very emotional and taken aback by the award. She proudly stood alongside her writers of the track and couldn’t help but give them the floor for the majority of the speech time.

“Thank you guys so much for sharing my broken heart with me. My good friends, Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. Y’all say something, please,” Lambert gushed over her fellow co-writers and fans.

The ACM Song of the Year award not only honors the artist, but it also honors the songwriters and publishers behind the song.

“I’m honored to be up here with two of my favorite people in the world,” Randall said to the crowd.

“For every song I’ve ever written, for every song we wrote, it leads you to the next and you never know what’s gonna happen with these things, but follow your heart and good things do,” Ingram added.

The win also brings Lambert’s ACM award total up to 31 trophies, making her the most awarded artist at this awards show.

The other nominees in the Song of the Year category included “Body Like a Back Road” by Sam Hunt, “Female” by Keith Urban and “Whiskey and You” by Chris Stapleton.

The 53rd Annual ACM Awards were hosted by Reba, and aired live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
