Miranda Lambert to Host Pinktoberfest for New Pink Pistol Store

Pink is the new black as Miranda Lambert plans to open the new location of The Pink Pistol stores in Lindale, Texas next month.

Bringing it back to where she began in her hometown, the celebration of the grand opening for The Pink Pistol will be all things Lambert and more. A barbecue and music joint, Love and War in Texas, will be opening in coordination to The Pink Pistol as well, making the occasion of Pinktoberfest even grander.

“It feels full circle to have everything under one ‘roof’ basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale,” explained Lambert in a press release about the event.

The new boutique will be different than any other locations as it will feature more products for sale and “Miranda’ize” merchandise. During the Pinktoberfest event, fans and visitors will be able to indulge in the soda fountain and photobooths set up for the entire day to get the full Lambert experience like none other.

People who come out to Pinktoberfest are highly encouraged to dress in the happy color in celebration of the store opening as well as to benefit and bring awareness to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. With the event being held in October, it coincides with breast cancer awareness month; hence why Lambert decided to team up with the worthy cause.

The event will also feature a chili cooking competition, wine tasting, musical performances, pepper eating contests and an adoption drive for Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation.

The Pinktoberfest block party event will kick off in Lindale, Texas, on October 22 at 10 a.m. CST.
