Miranda Lambert is the reigning Female Vocalist of the Year at the ACM Awards for the seventh consecutive year.

While no doubt excited for her win, she took time to thank the women in the country music community.

“Thank you so much! This is awesome. I love y’all,” she said with a big smile. “Carrie, you just killed it. I got to sing with Carrie on Friday and she’s an inspiration to me.”

She added that she loves seeing a group of women perform the songs they wrote on an awards show.

“I’m really excited for women in country music,” she said. “Thank you all the fans, I love y’all so much.”

In addition to Female Vocalist of the Year, Lambert also won Vocal Event of the Year with Little Big Town for their collaboration “Smokin’ and Drinkin.'” Lambert is also nominated for the coveted top prize, Entertainer of the Year at tonight’s ACM Awards.

The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards air live on CBS tonight.
