The Nashville team just keeps on growing with the recent addition of actress Katrina Norman to the regular cast for the continuation of season five.

Norman is set to play the recurring role of Polly, “a stunning, authentic and confident road manager for a popular musician,” as described by Deadline. While no further details were given on which artist she’ll represent, Norman will stir up the tensioned drama even more so with her connections to the Nashville music industry.

The actress showed off her chops on a number of Hollywood projects, including The Vampire Diaries, Burlesque, Criminal Minds, 17 Again and the list goes on.

She’ll be joining a handful of new faces to the Nashville crew as well for the duration of season five. Rachel Bilson signed on as Alyssa Greene, a marketing expert working with the team of Highway 65 Records to get the company back on track after the loss of its owner, Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton). Also tagging along in the mix is Empire’s Kaitlin Doubleday and Big Little LiesJeff Nordling.

While the mid-season premiere of Nashville aired just last week, the story-lines are already beginning to intertwine as the characters face the mourning of Jaymes and move on with their lives in the best ways they know how. They’ll restore their relationships and musical journeys even as they carry on into a renewed season six to premiere early next year.

Nashville airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CMT.
