It’s down to the final game. The Nashville Predators are facing off against the Winnipeg Jets for game seven in round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Who will take home the win? It’s too soon to tell, but Music City is pumped up for an epic game.

While rowdy fans in gold and navy rallied in Bridgestone Arena, the energy grew even higher when Sheryl Crow stepped out onto the ice to perform the National Anthem. Showing her Preds pride in a hockey jersey, Crow crooned the Star-Spangled Banner to thousands of cheering fans.

At the conclusion of her performance, Crow got going with a rally towel, hyping up the crowd as the players took their position on the ice.

The new tradition of stars singing the National Anthem began during the 2017 season when the Preds made a Stanley Cup run. During each home game, stars including Carrie UnderwoodKelly ClarksonVince GillKeith Urban, among others, sported their “fang fingers” and impressive vocals.

In addition to Crow’s performance this season, the group joins the ranks of Maren MorrisBrad Paisley and Rascal Flatts, who have also stepped center ice for the patriotic moment.

The Preds and Jets play once again on Monday (5/7) in Winnipeg for Game 6.
