NBC has revealed the premiere date for the much-anticipated new Dolly Parton film, Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

The network will air the film, which is the sequel to last year’s record-breaking movie, Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors, on Wednesday, November 30 at 9/8c.

The sequel brings back fan favorites Jennifer Nettles as Avie Lee Parton, Ricky Schroder as Robert Lee Parton, Gerald McRaney as Rev. Jake Owens and Alyvia Alyn Lind as young Dolly Parton. Director Stephen Herek will also return for the second installment.

The film showcases the next chapter in young Dolly Parton’s life. The feature will deliver joy as well as peril as the Parton family experiences an unexpected blizzard. The movie also documents the sacrifices that Dolly’s father and his children make to raise enough money to purchase his wife the wedding ring he could never afford. Additionally, a very important person in young Dolly’s life realizes her musical talents.

In a recent interview with Vogue, the iconic entertainer revealed that she will make a cameo in the Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

It’s been quite the year for Parton. In May, she celebrated her 50th anniversary with Carl Dean and this summer, she kicked off her Pure & Simple Tour. Additionally, she released a brand new album, also titled Pure & Simple, last week.
