If you missed the original airing of Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, you’re in luck. NBC has announced that it will re-air the touching family movie just before Christmas.

On December 23, families can gather around their televisions for the two-hour special that highlights more special moments from a young Dolly Parton’s life. Jennifer Nettles reprised her role as Parton’s mother Avie Lee for the second time after a stand-out role in the original Coat of Many Colors film released last year.

“The movie is called ‘Circle Of Love,’ and the circle represents the family circle, and the halo, crown of thorns and Jesus’ birthday. One of the stories in the movie is when we as children and dad all got up the money to buy Mama a wedding ring for Christmas,” said Dolly previously. “She had a house full of kids, and never had a wedding ring. That also represents the circle of family. There’s another part of the movie about a Christmas miracle that actually happened when we got snowbound in our little cabin in the hollow and almost died. We almost froze to death, and Daddy was gone. We didn’t have any food, and we couldn’t get out. It’s a miracle through prayer that my mama had.”

Parton even makes an appearance in the new film with a small role as the Painted Lady, a woman she molded herself after as a young girl.
