New Music From Jana Kramer is On The Way

Those anxiously awaiting new music from Jana Kramer will soon have their wishes granted. The singer recently revealed that she’ll soon debut several new songs that she’s been hard at work on.

In an interview with Chicago Splash, Kramer addressed her recent parting with longtime label Warner Music Nashville and expressed her interest in releasing music with no limitations.

“Nashville wanted to put me in a box,” she shared. “[It dictated] how I was supposed to sing and what I was supposed to sing about. … I’m just not the kind of artist that’s meant to be in a box.”

Her comments, however, were taken out of context and Kramer took to Twitter to clarify her statements.

“I am not in a box anymore. I LOVE Nashville. My home, friends and family is in Nash. And I have some songs coming out in a few weeks … That i am SOO beyond proud of. My favorite songs yet. They are me. They are real. And i can’t WAIT for you to hear them!!,” she wrote in a string of messages to her 661k+ followers.

Following up with string of posts on Twitter, Kramer revealed to Sirius XM The Highway’s Storme Warren that she is currently shopping for a new label home and presently has six songs she wants to feature on her upcoming album.

“I’ve got about six songs that I know for sure that I want on the album. But I’ve got two right now that we’re kind of deciding between which is going to be the new single. But I think we decided over the weekend which one is was. I’m so excited for everyone to hear the new music because definitely, I think the best that I’ve ever done.”

While Kramer is ready to release new music, she’s been pretty mum on when it’ll drop.

Jana Kramer will spend part of the summer out on the road, hopefully sharing new music, when she plays several festivals across the country.
