Nicole Kidman Assures That Keith Urban Won’t Cross Over to the Acting World

“Any chance I can, I will acknowledge what he does because he really is so kind, and I don’t think that having a cameo on one of my projects would interest him, to be honest,” she said to reporters.

Although Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have each other’s backs through it all, the actress pretty much promised fans that her husband plans to stick to music over the opportunities in Hollywood.

Kidman took home the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries at the SAG Awards on Sunday night (1/21), and immediately spread kind words about her love after thanking the voters who gifted her with her award.

During a quick media round behind the scenes, Kidman continued to gush over her true leading man but let the reporters know that a collaboration doesn’t seem to be in the works anytime soon.

“Any chance I can, I will acknowledge what he does because he really is so kind, and I don’t think that having a cameo on one of my projects would interest him, to be honest,” she said to reporters backstage (quote via PEOPLE). “I sleep with him!”

Thankfully enough, Urban stands with his wife in whatever creative projects she takes on and they balance each other out throughout their life together.

“He’s my biggest supporter. I’m so fortunate to have such an incredible partner in life,” she said of Urban.

The Big Little Lies actress also went on to spread hope to all the female actors in the audience by letting her prize represent that “careers today can go beyond 40 years old,” in accordance with the Time’s Up initiative she and so many others stand behind.

While Kidman continues to sweep up during awards season, Urban prepares himself for his next album called Graffiti U. There is no release date for the album set at this time.
