The streak continues — the Nashville Predators have served up another star-studded National Anthem performance when Vince Gill stepped into the rink as the team’s seventh man for a special rendition of the National Anthem. Gill wasn’t alone, however, as his daughters Jenny and Corinna provided additional harmonies.

The Gill family had the support of fellow country star and hockey-lover Dierks Bentley. The “Black” singer tweeted out his support for the legendary artist ahead of the surprise performance.

“Looking forward to @VGcom doing his thing tonight. Love to hear what he is saying. Dude has serious trash talking skills,” he wrote.

Tuesday night’s game (5/2) is the fourth in Round 2 of the NHL playoff series between the Preds and the St. Louis Blues. Currently, the Mike Fisher-helmed team leads the round 2-1.

Just two days ago, Little Big Town brought down the the Smashville fans in Bridgestone Arena with their impressive harmonies when they belted out the Star-Spangled Banner. Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan also put their most patriotic foot forward when they surprised fans during Round 1 of the NHL playoffs when the Preds took on the Chicago Blackhawks. During that series, the Nashville-based team swept the Windy City with a four-game winning streak.

The Predators next game will be back on the Blues home ice in the Scottrade Center on Friday, May 5.
