‘Pickler & Ben’ Earns Three Daytime EMMY Nominations

Congratulations are in order for Kellie Pickler and Ben Aaron as the daytime talk show hosts earned a nomination for Outstanding Informative Talk Show Hosts at the 45th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The two, who lead the dynamic show Pickler & Ben, learned of their nomination early Wednesday morning (3/21).

Pickler and Aaron will face off against fellow television hosts Kit Hoover and Natalie Morales of Access Hollywood Live, Dr. Mehmet Oz of the Dr. Oz Show, Larry King of Larry King Now and Steve Harvey of Steve.

In addition to their spot in the Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host category, Pickler & Ben earned two more nominations: one for Debbie Dover in Outstanding Hairstyling and Joe Terry and Ad Wes Macmillan for Outstanding Directing in a Talk Show.

Season one of Pickler & Ben wrapped to great acclaim from viewers nationwide, earning an immediate renewal for season 2. The show, produced by Faith Hill, highlights the best in entertainment and lifestyle and has featured appearances from Hill, Dolly PartonTim McGrawLittle Big Town, Molly Sims, Christian Siriano, Cat Cora, Reba McEntire, Duff Goldman, Ty Pennington among others.

The 45th annual Daytime Emmys will be held Sunday, April 29, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California, and live-streamed via Facebook, Twitter and the Daytime Emmys website.
