‘Pickler & Ben’ Set to Hit Daytime Television in September
“We have a little something for everyone," Picker promises of the new show.
Kellie Pickler is no stranger to television, but for her new small screen endeavor, she’s taking on the co-hosting duties for the first-ever “shop the show” talk show concept.
Set alongside her cohost Ben Aaron, the two will chat about all things lifestyle and pop culture like many daytime shows on local networks. But with Pickler & Ben hitting the tube, there will be an alternative catch in which viewers have the opportunity to purchase certain items as seen on the show from the comfort of their own homes.
Pickler & Ben will provide a new look to the typical daytime talk show format with the shopping twist thrown in, but Pickler still reassures future viewers that the atmosphere will reflect their at-home style throughout their lighthearted segments.
“This show truly feels like home — it’s like spending time with a bunch of good friends who just stopped by to trade stories on the back porch,” said Pickler in a press release. “We have a little something for everyone. We’ll laugh, get inspired and meet some very talented and extraordinary people.”
The chemistry as co-hosts between Pickler and Aaron is undeniable, according to Aaron himself, and he thinks their fans will appreciate the witty banter and crazy antics they get themselves into on the talk show.
“When Kellie and I get together, it’s anything but predictable. We have an incredible team of creative minds behind this show, and I can’t wait to deliver our country-city combo to viewers across America,” said Aaron.
Although Pickler will spend a lot of her time on the set of Pickler & Ben, that doesn’t mean she’s slowing down production of her reality show with her husband called I Love Kellie Pickler. The show airs her daily life moments in a candid perspective, and typically premieres new episodes on Thursday nights at 10 p.m. EST on CMT.
Pickler & Ben will air beginning Monday, September 18. Check your local listings for broadcast times. The show is being produced by superstar Faith Hill alongside co-founder of Happy Street Entertainment, Lisa Erspamer, and president and CEO of Sandbox Entertainment, Jason Owen.
