The Pistol Annies are storming the courthouse in their new music video for “Got My Name Changed Back.” Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe make a dramatic entrance, decked out in rhinestones, sequins and some seriously bold eye makeup before Lambert (on lead vocals) takes the stand. The sassy song sees “Lone Star Annie” pleading her case to change her name after a love gone wrong, with her bandmates chiming in from the counsel table.

“It takes judge to get married, takes a judge to get divorced / Well the last couple years, spent a lotta time in court / Got my name changed back,” sings Lambert as she flirts with a bailiff and please to the judge.

Lambert’s bandmates also follow the lead at the DMV where Monroe turns the dreaded license photo into a full on glamour shot, and to the bank where Presley makes a giant cash withdrawal and celebrates with an anti-wedding cake.

The fiery track was co-written by the women for their upcoming third studio album Interstate Gospel. The 14-song project features the band’s iconic harmonies with in-depth stories and their trademark tongue-in-cheek meets-heart-on-their sleeve brutal honesty.

“The best way to describe this record is that it sounds like three women came unleashed and told a bunch of truth. We didn’t hold back and we’re proud of it,” read a note the trio posted upon announcing the project.

Fans can pick up their copy of Interstate Gospel when it releases on Friday, Nov. 2.
