On Monday (May 16), RaeLynn made her way to First Tennessee Park in Nashville to play some baseball with the players on the Nashville Sounds team.

The practice was arranged so the “For A Boy” singer could get in some early training prior to the 26th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game scheduled for June 7. While out on the field, RaeLynn practiced catching, throwing and hitting.

“I’m glad that I did this because I know what my strength is. It’s hitting,” the singer told Sounds Like Nashville while out on the field. “Then it would be throwing and then catching. I’m just going to tell them that upfront. I’m good at hitting. Anything else, just put me in the dugout. [I] don’t want to be the catcher. I don’t want ruin my face because I don’t want to break my nose. I’ve already broken my nose once. That wouldn’t be great.”

Among the stars joining RaeLynn at the game this year will be Jake Owen, Lauren Alaina, Danielle Bradbery, The Bobby Bones ShowJessie James Decker, and many more.

“I love Lauren Alaina and Danielle Bradbery. It’ll be fun to play with Jake Owen and The Bobby Bones show, I think they’re just so much fun. There’s so many great people,” she shared. “It’s a good lineup of people and everyone is all different in their own way. This was one of my favorite things to do when I did it a couple years ago because we all got out of the head space of music and just got to have fun and be like kids again.”

And while she got some practice on the field, RaeLynn will be preparing for the match-up in more of a “look good, play good” way.

“I will definitely be wearing a pair of cute sunglasses. Definitely a must…Stars, hearts, something crazy,” she laughed.

The Texas native will also be bringing her “poker face” on game day.

“Just making sure I got my game face on. Gotta look intimidating because I’m so intimidating, you know?!”
