Rascal Flatts Are Ready To Sing All The Hits On Tour

After a stint in Las Vegas earlier this year, Rascal Flatts is gearing up to hit the road on their Riot Tour with special guest Scotty McCreery.

The trio’s show will feature hits spanning across their 15-year career. While that’s a huge feat in the music industry, the guys admit that they can start feeling a bit burnt out singing those same hits night after night by the end of a tour.

“It’s sort of a blessing and a curse to have so many songs that people expect to hear every night, ‘cause it kind a limits what you’re able to do with your live show and you can only switch it up and change it up so many different ways,” Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus says. “But, when I stop and think about it when we’re off the road, I actually miss playing those songs ‘cause they’ve been such a big part of people’s lives. And so it’s pretty cool to have to have certain songs that you have to play every night.”

DeMarcus and his counterparts Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney are feeling refreshed and ready to take the stage, continuing to live out their dream night after night.

“That’s what we all hope and dream to do when we stand in front of the mirror with our ‘Goody’ comb and sing into it, is to have a bunch of songs that have touched people so much that they want to hear ‘em every night.” And he says, “I’m very honored and humbled by the fact that we’ve been able to do that in our careers.”

The Riot Tour kicks off this Friday, May 29th in St. Louis, MO.
