Rascal Flatts has garnered many No. 1 hits in their career, but the feeling never fades when they receive that good news.

Hitting their 17th career No. 1 this past week with their current single, “Yours If You Want It,” the guys continue to feel flattered over the attention and airplay they receive throughout their time in country music. They remain humbled by the amount of love their fans show them time and time again, and never forget to appreciate the journey that they’ve followed throughout the many years making music together.

“Each one of them are very, very special so you remember the ones that go all the way to the top. And we can’t even believe that we had one, let alone this many, and have been able to have a career this long we feel very blessed. I don’t know, it’s one of those things that kind of blow us away every time we stop and think about how far we’ve come and how long we’ve been able to do this and how great the fans have been over the years,” Jay DeMarcus of the trio said of the accomplishment.

While making their latest album, which includes their most recent No. 1 single, the guys just wanted to bring back the same feelings of their first couple albums. Reverting to their roots and heading back to basics was exactly their plans, and everything came together from that decision on in the creative process of Back to Us.

“I think with the way that the album was mixed, our vocals are at the forefront, like they were in the beginning of our career,” said lead singer Gary LeVox to Sounds Like Nashville at a previous event. “Everything just organically fell into place, really just the way God had it handed to us.”

“Yours If You Want It” is featured on Rascal Flatts’ latest record, Back to Us, which is available for streaming or purchase now.
