All eyes were on Luke Bryan Sunday afternoon as he took the field at NRG Stadium in Houston to sing the national anthem prior to Super Bowl LI.

Donning a burgundy v-neck tee shirt, a casual black jacket and jeans, the Georgia native took the field to sing an a cappella rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Bryan did not let nerves get in the way of his performance as he delivered a steady performance of the tune and didn’t seem to miss a single note.

The four-time Entertainer of the Year will go down in history as the third male Country artist to perform the national anthem prior to the Super Bowl. He follows in the footsteps of Garth Brooks, who sang it in 1993 and Charley Pride, who performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” in 1974.
