Nerves were running high during The Voice’s live semi-finals results show Tuesday night when eight contestants were narrowed down to four finalists who will compete for the coveted trophy next Monday night.

Throughout the hour-long episode, host Carson Daly revealed one by one who fans will get to hear from next week until five performers remained. Former child country star Billy Gilman, Sundance Head of Team Blake Shelton and We McDonald were all voted through to next week’s episode.

Between the nerve-wrecking revelations, artists One Republic, The Voice alum Hannah Huston and Coach Shelton performed.

Shelton took to the stage to deliver his current single, “A Guy With a Girl,” from his latest album If I’m Honest. He sang the light and airy tune with a smile spread across the stage. As he bopped around the stage, interacting with the audience, those in the crowd were absolutely loving it.

After the entertainment, it was then announced that Christian Cuevas, Ali Caldwell and country singer Josh Gallagher would have a sing-off for the instant save and the final spot in next week’s show.

Gallaghaer won his way into the finals with a heartfelt, stripped down rendition of Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck.”

Tune in to watch the finalists bring their best during next week’s finale, Monday night at 8 PM EST on NBC.
