The second night of The Voice “Battle Rounds” aired on Tuesday evening, leaving the coaches with more tough decisions than ever.

Blake Shelton was at a loss when he had to choose between soul singer Courtney Harrell and reggae-pop singer Ethan Tucker. The two performed a rendition of John Mayer’s “Gravity” that was filled with harmonies and passion. The duo was obviously locked in and feeding off one another through out the entire performance.

“This is one of those times as a coach you regret putting two people together because you two are incredible,” Shelton admitted while contemplating his decision.

In the end, Harrell was chosen as the winner and Tucker was sent home.

The number of country contestants on the show shrunk during the broadcast, as well. The genre’s Charity Bowden and Khaliya Kimberlie, both part of Team Miley Cyrus, were sent home after their battles. Bowden went head-to-head against Josette Diaz where they performed “She’s Got You” by Patsy Cline and Nashville’s own Maye Thomas knocked out Kimberlie after their rendition of “For What It’s Worth” by Buffalo Springfield.

Battle rounds will continue next Monday and Tuesday at 8 PM ET on NBC.
