Night four of The Voice blind auditions aired Tuesday evening (Sep. 27) and country music finally was well represented. Team Blake Shelton grew in size to gear up for a competitive season 11.

The first country singer to take the stage in a ball cap and cowboy boots, Josh Gallagher, traveled to L.A. from Nashville. He performed a rendition of Brothers Osborne’s “Stay a Little Longer” and as soon as Shelton turned around a heartwarming smile lit up Gallagher’s face.

“I want to be a country artist, I want to live this way I want to die that way. I love country music,” Shelton strongly proclaimed to get Gallagher to join his team…which he did.

Other additions to join the “Guy With a Girl” singer’s team include Austin Allsup, who entertained with a bluesy rendition of “Wild Horses,” smooth pop singer Christian Fermin and Preston James, who wow’d Shelton with a cover of Chris Stapleton’s “Nobody to Blame.”

Khaliya Kimberlie is another country singer hopeful who tried her talent on The Voice. The Native American performed a lower octave version of Kelsea Ballerini’s “Dibs.” Shelton and Miley Cyrus were both vying for the chance to coach her and she shook things up when she teamed with Cyrus.

Viewers got another dose of unexpected country music when Cyrus went on stage to join indie-pop singer Darby Walker for an impromptu duet of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”

Once again the show was filled with hilarious commentary between the judges combined with the entertainment of the talented contestants that result in a memorable show. The final two nights of blind auditions broadcast next Monday (Oct. 3) and Tuesday (Oct. 4) at 8 PM EST on NBC.
