Rodney Atkins just released his brand-new single “Caught Up In The Country,” and now he is about to hit the road to bring the song right to the fans!

Atkins’ These Are My People Tour opens April 18 in Patchogue, N.Y. and runs through June 29 in Rosemont, Ill. The summer tour is the perfect opportunity for fans to come out to hear Atkins’ first new music in five years.

“Even during my time away from the studio, we were always out on the road with our fans,” says Atkins. “They still sing along to every word of ‘Take A Back Road’ or ‘Watching You’ as if those songs are brand new, so I’m excited to get back out there and add some fresh music to the mix.”

“Caught Up In The Country,” written by Connie Harrington, Jordan Schmidt and Mike Walker, features the Fisk Jubilee Singers. The track is a sign of good things to come from Atkins’ full studio album, which will be released on Curb Records later this year.

“Caught Up In The Country” is available on digital and streaming websites now and will hit the radio airwaves on April 23. More information about Rodney Atkins’ These Are My People Tour can be found on Atkins’ website.
