As honest and truthful as they come, rising country trio Runaway June will share their music with the world when their self-titled debut EP is released. Produced by acclaimed producer Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young), the project will feature five songs, including their latest single to country radio, “Buy My Own Drinks.”

“This is a group of songs that really expresses us as a band,” said Runaway June’s Naomi Cooke. “We have been working on this project for two years and so many life changes have happened to us as people, and now more than ever we have songs that tell the stories of those moments.”

“The EP is a really fun and diverse look into our sound as a band. It incorporates the fun of the live show, but also shows some soft moments that fans can relate to,” added Hannah Mulholland.

“Dann Huff has changed our lives,” noted Jennifer Wayne. “He’s completely zoned in our sound. He’s so collaborative and he’s such a joy to work with.”

In additional to “Buy My Own Drinks,” which was co-written by the group with Hillary Lindsey and Josh Kear, the EP will feature their Top 40 hit “Wild West” and a cover of Dwight Yoakam’s “Fast As You.”

While preparing for new music, the trio is also readying for a busy 2019 out on the road as part of Carrie Underwood’s The Cry Pretty Tour 360. The trio will open each of the 55 nights across the United States and Canada after kicking off on May 1 in Greensboro, NC.
