Sam Hunt pulled off a huge win at the 2015 American Music Awards tonight.

The “Break Up In A Small Town” singer won the all-genre New Artist of the Year category, beating out Fetty Wap, Tove Lo, WALK THE MOON, and The Weeknd.

“First off, thank you to all the people who voted me up to here tonight,” the soft-spoken Georgia native said. “It means a lot to me. I am proud to represent country music tonight.”

Hunt’s AMA win is the cherry on top of what’s been an absolutely stellar year. The 30-year-old racked in chart-topper after chart-topper and his album, Montevallo, continues to sell at a rapid pace.

Congratulations, Sam!
