Despite frosty temperatures across most of the United States, Sam Hunt has us feeling the summer vibes with his cover of Kenny Chesney’s “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems.” In a laid-back video posted to Instagram, Hunt and his band look calm and cool as they jam to the 2002 hit during some off time at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa.

“Good seeing the boys again last weekend at Crash My Playa. Thanks @lukebryan for having us,” wrote Hunt with the clip.

Hunt’s time in Mexico for Crash My Playa was just one of a few events Hunt has on the schedule for this year. The “Body Like A Back Road” singer has been taking a well-deserved break helping his wife, Hannah, with humanity projects. In a now deleted Instagram post, the Georgia native revealed that he was inspired to help after hearing how important it was to Hannah.

“While I was in Nashville trying to get things going with music, Hannah was providing medical care to Hondurans during the 2009 coup. She was working in Syrian refugee camps and delivering Kurd babies in northern Iraq during the 2014 elections. She spent time in Israel where she helped with a feeding program and worked with Holocaust survivors,” he shared previously. “Her heart for humanity is one of the things I admire most about her but she’s put her ambitions on hold to be with me for the past year and a half. This winter, thanks to the people who’ve supported me and my music, I’m able to go with her and be a part of her dreams as they’ve become mine. If you’ve ever bought a record or come to a show, God bless you for giving us this opportunity.”

The work will likely provide Hunt with much to be inspired about, hopefully leading him into the follow-up to his GRAMMY-nominated debut album Montevallo. His single, “Body Like A Back Road,” whet the appetite of his fans who are hungry for new music, as it spent 34 weeks in No.1 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart. No word on when the full project will be released.
