With so much the anticipation in the air, Sara Evans had announced exciting new details regarding her forthcoming record.

Named Words for its honest conviction, Evans will release her new album on her brand new record label, Born to Fly Records. Marking a new chapter in her music career as well as her professional endeavors, Evans hopes fans relate to the powerful lyrics penned throughout each of the poignant tracks.

“When I’m listening to a song, it’s the lyrics and the stories they tell that matter most to me,” Evans explained in a press release about the album. “Not only is ‘Words’ the title to one of the songs on my album but in listening to new music for the record, I was always looking for lyrics that moved me and expressed a powerful range of emotions. Women are natural storytellers and I’m proud to have so many amazing female songwriters represented on this record.”

Evans’ album features not only personal heartfelt songs she contributed to while in the writing room, but also the ideas from 14 total female songwriters in each track. She enlisted the help from her teenage daughter, Olivia, with some of the background vocals as a unique mother-daughter bonding experience.

Words will be available everywhere on July 21, with more details about the album to come.
