After putting years of emotional content into his lyrics and recording some of the most vulnerable tracks in his catalogue to date, Scotty McCreery feels confident in his decision to make his latest album into a diary after reaching the top slot on the album charts with Seasons Change.

The record, which came out on March 23, sold more than 40,000 copies and sent McCreery right up the list of Billboard’s Country Albums Chart. Soaring over any other competition with his collection of personal tunes, it definitely made McCreery proud of the hard work he and his team put in while making the project.

“It’s been quite a journey these last few years, and to learn that Seasons Change has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart is awesome and so gratifying,” said McCreery recently. “I’m glad everyone is enjoying the new music. I am so thankful to my fans, who have always been so supportive. With a No. 1 album, my first-ever No. 1 single, and my upcoming wedding to the love of my life, I just don’t see how 2018 can get any better!”

The past few months have been huge for McCreery, both in his career and his personal life. Not only did he notch a No. 1 single with “Five More Minutes,” he also popped the question to longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal in the fall. The two plan to wed sometime later this year.

Fans can hear McCreery’s new music on the road as the singer plans to tour for the next couple months. More information can be found on McCreery’s website.
