Scotty McCreery-

It’s almost time for the most wonderful time of year. A time where families gather together, sit down… and watch their favorite fall television programming!

One fall TV staple, ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, will kick off its 21st season on Sept. 14 and while the entire lineup has not been announced, we know one star who will not be on the show.

Scotty McCreery, who is no stranger to competitive television shows, told Cody Alan of After Midnite that he will not be switching his cowboy boots for dancing shoes. “Dancing with the Stars has called me a couple times, and I’ve just respectfully declined,” McCreery explained. “Nobody wants to see that on their TV. It’s just one of those things.”

While we will not see the “Southern Belle” singer on the show, the cast is already shaping up to be a solid one. Andy Grammer, Nick Carter, Bindi Irwin, Chaka Khan, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega, Hayes Grier and Victor Espinoza are all confirmed to appear on Season 21 of DWTS. The rest of the cast and their professional partners will be revealed on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
